Let’s strip it back to what’s most important shall we – You promising your lives to one another.

Somewhere along the way Weddings became about how everything looks and keeping up with the most recent trends. Couples felt they had to perform for the camera. This makes me sad.

This is not my process – My ethos is to allow you space. To observe and help if needed. Reading and capturing everyone else also involved in your day. I turn up to each wedding tailoring my behaviour and approach according to how I’ve read the room, atmosphere and people.

You will return to your Wedding images at every milestone, anniversary, birthday, no only of yourselves but those of your friends and family members too. You will sit and share these images with your children, laughing at eyebrows and terrible hair styles. The more images you have of natural interactions the more valuable your gallery will be over time.

Your Wedding photographs will become your legacy. An “of a time” record of the people who supported you to reach this point. Your lives. The images are your art. You are choosing a photographer who values relationships and connections and recognises your Wedding day experience truly is once in a lifetime.

Enquire – no obligation chat / coffee / video call. The best most relaxed images happen when you are comfortable with your photographer, meet / chat before booking!

No problem, option to book a Pre Wedding shoot, feel more relaxed about having your photographs taken in the run up to the day. I’ve got you either way.

We correspond as much or as little as you like – I am here to help with suppliers, timelines, or not at all. But we will chat before the day to organise a plan of action.

I arrive into your day with insight and empathy. Tailoring my attitude and approach to fit in with the atmosphere, people and our plan. I will be taking photographs that matter to you without taking you away from your guests for hours at a time. The story. The happenings. My response to your energy.

Previews within a week of your Wedding. With an eta of when to expect your final gallery. In depth editing, with a nostalgic, storytelling narrative.

Your password protected online final gallery will be filled with images evoking connection, nostalgia, realness, truth, be poignant and will grow in value as time passes.

  • 1. What makes your wedding photography different from others?
    I believe a Wedding day should be a celebration of your lives together not the photos. My coverage will compliment your plans, not dictate them. Shooting for your legacy, not social media.

    I tailor my approach according to your wishes and the day I arrive into. My lived experience directly affects my choices of what and who to photograph. Appreciating connections, moments, legacy, generations, glimmers with the eye of an artist.

    Combining peoples stories within your day alongside the key Wedding moments. Because I understand the value this record as time passes. What I notice and highlight within your day will differ from the next photographer.
  • 2. WHAT DOES SHOOTING FOR LEGACY ACTUALLY MEAN?
    I take the photographs you didn’t know you needed until 5, 10, 20 years have passed. The real moments between generations. Documenting the day as it happened with a small amount of direction to ensure images have been considered but have not taken over.

    I am acutely aware of the passage of time and how much things change. What remains important throughout are the people in your lives, the support you’ve received and the real actions of those people within your Wedding day.

    I want you to look back on these images at every milestone marvelling how small your nephew was when he joined you on the dance floor, your grandma taking that wonky photo of you she has framed on her mantelpiece.

    Trends will come and go, but my Wedding photography will show your loved ones naturally.
  • 3. WE ARE NOT KEEN ON HAVING OUR PHOTOGRAPH TAKEN
    Most couples who contact me feel exactly the same as you, worried about feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera and unsure how they will feel on the day, not wanting to be the centre of attention.

    When I shoot a Wedding I not only concentrate on the couple, but the day as a whole and everyone involved, each person bringing something to the day and their sub stories within it.

    You will see from my galleries no one looks awkward or unsure and no one has been taken away from their guests for hours.


  • 4. Social MEDIA SHARING?
    There will never be an additional cost if you choose to keep images private.

    Many of my couples do not have social media. A Wedding is an incredibly personal occasion, your privacy always comes first.

    My images are for your records – not my own social media feed. I do not film myself at Weddings or use your Wedding as a content reel. Your experience is priority.
  • 5. Do YOU USE AI IN YOUR EDITING?
    I do not use Ai culling or image editing. I personally select each image to build a commentary of the day. An artistic and documentary record. Although my processing is computer based, each image has been selected and edited individually by myself, nothing is out-sourced or batch processed.

    I have trialled Ai image editing but prefer to work in a more considered way to provide the most personalised collection of images. Based on my experience of and interactions within the day. The images I deliver are unique to yourselves. You invest in my vision, artistic eye, skills and experience.
  • 6. WE ARE PLANNING SOMETHING SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT
    I love Wedding’s that are a celebration of love, whatever that looks like and whoever may be involved. Photography is an important record and I understand budgets can vary.

    For me, the most important thing is you promising your lives to one another. Whether you are surrounded by 100 supporters or 5.

    My work will give you a lasting record of the most special time and I work with each couple individually to provide the best possible process for them.

    Let’s chat. I’ll suggest how I can tailor my approach to the celebration you are planning and where I feel photography coverage will be the most beneficial for you.
  • 7. Do YOU WORK WITH A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER
    For larger weddings, (over 150 guests) those with multiple locations or if you request additional filming, I do work with a highly-skilled second photographer.

    I often cover both prep locations so a second photographer is not always necessary, this is something to discuss in our initial chat.

    You are booking me to provide low key coverage. My style relies on observation, noticing and capturing meaningful moments and I find this works best with the smallest team possible.
  • 8. ARE YOU INSURED?
    Yes!! I am fully insured for public and professional indemnity.  

    With a wide range of kit for every eventuality, camera back ups, high quality memory cards and lenses.  
    I also have a tried and tested system to back up all your images safely both off and online, on and off site.

    While your online gallery remains live I do recommend once you have received your images to save the files in at least 3 different locations, the cloud, an external hard drive and your computer. Digital files can become corrupted by heat, cold and age. Please keep your memories safe. 
  • 9. Do YOU TRAVEL?
    Yes, I love to travel throughout the UK to photograph Weddings, when booked for a full day travel is included up to two hours from my home near J25 of the M1.

    Any further and a small fee may be added depending on circumstances.

    I love to capture relaxed Weddings full of love and happily travel far and wide. If you are planning a destination Wedding or Elopement contact me for personalised pricing options.

  • 10. WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
    Timelines will vary depending on whether you have chosen film / filming / slideshows / multi days. You will receive progress updates and ETA’s.

    To ensure everyone gets the same quality of service and processing no Ai or outsourcing is used in my editing.

    Still image previews within a week of your day. Your Full Gallery will be delivered as soon as possible after the wedding within 6-8 weeks. Planning for you to be together with time to relax to make your first viewing a special occasion. 


  • 11. CAN WE MEET YOU?
    I always recommend meeting before you book. We can video call or if you are local meet for a coffee at my fav café.

    It’s important you feel comfortable with the person who will be with you all day.

    Our initial call can give you an idea of how I might work within your day once I’ve found out more about yourselves and your plans.
  • 12. HOW DO WE BOOK?
    YAY! A £20% booking fee along with a signed online contract secures your date.

    I take on a limited number of Wedding each year to be able to give each couple the best possible service. It is always worth checking your date if you are planning a more intimate last minute celebration. I would love to help.
